How does design shape our environment? The Museum of Decorative Arts of the State Art Collections is dedicated to that question. Apart from arts and crafts from the 17th/18th centuries, special contemporary exhibitions or on show, too.
The Palm House
The Palm House is home to exotic plants from South Africa and New Zealand and is regarded a »glasshouse paradise« in Pillnitz Park. In its side rooms, the photographs by Franz Zadniček show the use and the dramatic decay of the Palm House in the 1980s.

The Palace Museum (New Palace)
