How to find us

Pillnitz Palace & Park is located on the eastern border of Dresden immediately at the Elbe River. The palace complex can easily be reached by public transport, by a steamboat with Sächsische Dampfschifffahrt or by car. You may also come here by bike along the Elbe Cycle Path finally crossing the river by ferry at Pillnitz.

  • The paddle wheel steamer of the Saxon Steamship Company (Saechsischen Dampfschifffahrt) stop directly at Pillnitz Palace - the most royal way to come here!

The Museums

  • Apr 14 - Nov 03, 2019:
    Tue to Sun and on public holidays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Guided tours of the Palace Museum take place during the winter season on every weekend on the hour between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.

The Palm House

  • is open all year round:
